Re: Old Tube, Curious Discovery

My son discovered some time ago that our machines cut better with the power at 60 instead of 80. Rarely go above 60 now!

Re: Corner power!

Thanks Tom. What do you think this should be set to? It mainly cuts right angle corners right through.

Corner power!

This has been mentioned in a couple of posts i have read this morning. What exactly is it? Can you set different speed/power for corners as i have always assumed that everything will cut at the same speed/power setting. On opening a file and the 'set cut options' dialogue box the corner power is set...

Re: Softdog dongle problem Help please!

When i get this problem i close Lasercut, check the dongle and the USB cable are in properly then open Lasrcut. This usually works. Its quite annoying though. I usually close Lasercut before plugging the dongle and USB cable into the laptop in order to prevent the annoyance!!!!!

The drawing will now be separated into all of its individual parts. This can also show some lines that may not be visib...

Lost red dot!

I cleaned the mirrors and lens on my LS6040 and when i put it back together the red dot had disappeared! I have done this countless times and this has never happened and i cant figure out whats causing this.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Re: Annoying LaserCut 5.3 glitch

Had this problem today also. I always delete the previous file. Having corrected an error in the drawing i uploaded the amended file and the machine cut the old file! Got there in the end though but it does happen every now and again.

Re: LS6040 Problem

Unfortunately CFG didn't work so i guess i will need to ring HPC. Starting to wonder if it could be the belts.

Thanks for the suggestions.
