Re: Water Chiller & Error 5

Hi, Firstly sorry for my spelling mistakes on the previous post. Hit submit instead of preview. The cooler is a PH LW04-06-BLP. After posting my problem, I decided to change the water although it hasn't done a great deal of work. Before I had the chiller i have been using the laser machine for 4year...

Rotary Tool

Hi everybody, Has anyone else got the same problem as I seem to have. When I bought my machine last June I also bought a rotary tool. The one Chris had in mind wasn't suitable for differant reasons, technical and practical. He fetched out another one which looks like a lathe. This was almost perfect...

Re: Extraction

We have purchased the air filter system from HPC and highly recommend it. As Dave has said, it is not cheap and the replacement filters are not cheap either, but it does a amazing job. We use our laser machine in a small workshop and with out the filter system, it would not be possible for us to sta...

Re: Using an Apple Mac to run a Laser Script

You could also try running VirtualBox. Its a platform emulator like VMWare, but also support USB pass-through. They have a binary for Intel based Macs I use the open source edition (which does not have the USB pass through) and have not tried the binary version, but it might be worth a try Paul (On ...

Re: Help with choosing an easy to use CAD package

I had a quick look yesterday, but could only find packages at over £600. I had also seen QCad. I know that you only get what you pay for, but was wondering if QCad was worth looking at, for £40-ish with a printed reference manual, even it if only gets us going until we can afford something a little ...

Help with choosing an easy to use CAD package

Hi, Looks like Im going to have to learn to use a CAD package. From what I have read, AutoCAD is one of the (if not the) best CAD packages around, but it's not cheap and I have seen people comment on it's steep learning curve. I have just downloaded DeltaCAD as their website says "Delta Cad - W...
