Re: 6840 Poor cutting in a stright line

Hi
Finally found five minutes to have a look at the forum and noticed your reply, so thanks for that. It turned out to be the PSU, replcaed that and no problems since.

6840 Poor cutting in a stright line

Hi All
Just having a few problems with my 6840, it has been cutting fine and now it seems to be perforating the cut (mount card) rather than cutting a neat line. The corners seem fine it is just the straight lines. Does anyone have any ideas.

Many Thanks

Re: Wood Glue

I agree with Philly Dee, used this stuff sometime ago and can't fault it for wood. I would be interested to hear the results for other materials though.

Re: Mirrors

Thanks Dave. I cleaned them and it did come off and I have been cutting MDF of late so it could explain it. Also the machine is nearly two years old so it could be the heat on the mirrors. At least I don't have too panic just yet.

Thanks

Mirrors

Hi One and All Just gone to give my mirrors a clean and I noticed that where the laser hits the mirror I am getting what looks like an oil slick on top of water type colour fanning out in a sort of circular shape. Has anyone else seen this and do I need to start to panic about something. Many Thanks

Re: LS6090 laser problem

Hi Phil I had a problem where the water overheated (went above 25c) and this caused either the mirror to warp or the glue holding it to soften and therefore allow the mirror to move. Don't know if that helps at all or just adds to the problem.......sorry but thought you might like to know. Thanks Tony
