Re: Circle / Squares not cutting true
The LS6090 does have a single rod at the back with 2 belts, it does not seem to cut a straight line like the H spooky hence the square being out of true, so which belt could have skipped a tooth I don't know. Something else I have noticed is that all the mirrors seem to be lined up correctly and whe...

Re: Circle / Squares not cutting true
Hi everybody thanks for all your replies. I will check again if the X and Y axis are perpendicular, but I think Tom you may be right about it still being a tooth out which may affect the X an Y axis being out as I know the belts had slipped a couple of teeth just recently and noticed that the head d...

Re: Circle / Squares not cutting true
Hi Tom
Sorry for the confusion.
Whatever size I cut it is still out of true, but the larger the piece I cut it is more noticeable.
For example when I have cut a piece out and then rotate it 90 degrees and put it back in the hole it came from, it will not fit, it is out by 1 mm or so.

Re: Circle / Squares not cutting true
Hi Tom
The larger the piece I cut the same result, for example I cut 300mm x 100mm plaques and it still does the same. Same with 230mm x 125mm plaques.

Re: Circle / Squares not cutting true
Hi Tom
I have a LS6090pro
I have tightened and loosened the belts but no joy, I have noticed when I have cut a 100mm square which does measure 100mm in each direction, that
the square seems to be stretched at top left corner and bottom right corner.

Hi Tom
Thank you for your reply.
How could I rectify that, could it still be a case of the belt slipping a tooth.

Re: Circle / Squares not cutting true
Hi PhillyDee
Thank you for your reply.
Yes it is always the same no matter where it cuts on the bed. It used to cut perfectly until recently.

Circle / Squares not cutting true
Hi Again Still having problems regarding Circles and Squares not cutting a true Circle, or true Square, out at least 1 mm. Have replaced the tube and re done the belts as they had skipped a couple of teeth, so everything is squared up. Realigned the mirrors, everyone lined up correctly in each corne...

Re: Laser Tube
Hi Dave
Thanks for your reply.
The pattern I get is like a 3mm circle with around 4 dots cut out.
The pattern I get at the end of the tube is like a C shape.
Pete
