Re: Double Sided woes! Some Advice needed
You could always cut a jig , allowing adequate distance between objects, so engraves then the cut outs drop down into a clear space, ensure that it is open front to back to allow the vaporised acrylic to extract out. If you have a tray/bit of card under just pull it out and remove cuts outs .Clean u...

Re: 3020 carriage stoppin/freezing during engrave
Maybe Dave, however I've never had a problem with this file, prob sent it down about 150 plus times with no problem. Only exception this last time is that I've used the "select all" command before sending, and also had another file minimised that I use for an alignment check but was still sel...

Re: Wool felt or synthetic?
I think you need to put it into context, we're not talking about any discernable levels of HCN being produced laser cutting and engraving sheeps wool felt. Maybe a warehouse or factory full of the stuff going up would pose a significant risk, which is more relevant to the link posted. As for the sme...

Re: Aligning after etching
Did you ever solve this issue Kris ? My 3020 has never aligned a profile cut with an engrave from new,,I've always run an engrave then reset X,Y to home and then used the send to X,Y command and sent the same file but with just the profile cut part of the file. I think it's just the limitations of a...

Old tubes disposal
Morning All

Cheers
