Re: Cutting magnetic sheets

Thanks Dave - I suppose you're right. I'm hoping they will let me exchange them anyway! If anybody does know of any magnetic sheets that might be laser cutterable then I'd be grateful to hear about them. They also have these on their website so maybe they'd be OK?... http://www.first4magnets.com/a4-...

Re: Cutting magnetic sheets

Actually I think I know what the answer will be - just searched for PVC which I see is a BIG no no. Am a bit annoyed because I specifically emailed the company to ask if they could be laser cut :? If anybody knows of any other - ideally A4 - sheet magnets that can be laser cut then I'd be grateful t...

Step by Step guide to checking alignment - LS3020?

Hi Apologies if I've missed something on the board but I have had a search and couldn't find anything... I'm a relatively new user of my LS3020 machine and I think the time has come to check the alignment of the laser. I have the instructions in the manual but I was wondering if there was anything a...

Re: Bubble that I can't get rid of - LS3020

Just read on another forum about someone swapping the cooling pipes round to run the water through the other way and then switching them back to get rid of air bubbles. Might this help or is this going to mess up my machine? Sorry for all the stupid questions - am not particularly technical as you m...

Bubble that I can't get rid of - LS3020

Hi I have a bubble that is at the left hand end of the tube that I can't seem to get rid of - its around the silver part (picture below). I've tried turning the machine on its side and pinching the water tube but it doesn't seem to want to shift. Is there anything else I can try? Do I just need to l...

0.5mm Mylar

Hi
I am trying to get hold of some thick mylar sheets - I understand they come in thicknesses up to 0.5mm? Does anybody know where I could source some? Apologies if the answer is already on the forum - I did do a search but didn't come up with anything.
Many thanks
Katherine
