Bit the bullet and collected a new tube from one of HPC engineers. Met up with him in Essex to collect the tube and drive back to Norfolk. Fitted it last Wednesday. Hi Dave Thanks for your reply. I cleaned all the mirrors and the lens. I also checked the alignment. The tube is just under 3 years old. The chiller does give an error message E02. Which results in the water temperature dropping to around 4 or 5 degrees. This has been like this for around a year. Th...

I have the 1290 150w laser. I have been cutting some tree shapes from 6mm Ply and MDF. My problem is the depth of cut is inconsistent. Strangely enough had the same problem this week. Found the black wire broken. it was about half way along inside the plastic chain link. Could the the same problem.

testing laser power
Is there a gadget out there that you can use to test the power of your laser is operating at? In other words something you put in the path of the laser and it gives you a reading in watts.

Problem solved. Right click on the icon, select properties, click on advanced and click on "run as administrator".

I am having problems getting the software to run on windows 10 on a second hand PC i recently bought. I followed the instructions posted by someone and it works fine on my laptop which runs windows 10 but not on the PC. The message "Plug in softdog and restart the software" keeps coming up...
