Any update for laser software?

Is there an update to fix all the crash problems with the laser software? Its been over a year now. I would expect a software upgrade by now :twisted:

Its the software that comes with the laser cutter. Having said that the laser is a good machine.

Thanks for the your help. Everything you have said will help but it is still the fault of the laser software. No other software has these problems. Photoshop and Illustrator and Microsoft Office never crash and work with all USB sticks. These programs dont crach because of the amount of investment a...

Just found another fault with the software:

At the moment it will not load another file into the laser cutter. It keeps cutting the last file !!!! Do we get the £10 plastic back ?

The file type is always DXF, this is the suggested file type for the software. Charlotte As Charlotte says DXF is the suggested file type. Hi You can save file in two way from illustrator. 1. Save as cs3 with no compretion and no ICC. You drawing must also be correct. Make sure all you have in any layer is paths. Illustrator cs3 will work if you save the files with no compretion and no ICC. Dont forget to work in mm, if you work in cm you drawing will be 10 times to small !! I have solved the problem now. Illustraror cs3 works fine as long as you save with no compretion or ICC.
