Re: Laser Not firing

Thanks Dave, Have just tried most of that  Managed to fire once or twice and then nothing, even after trying the 'bypass option'. Looks like I'll just bring forward the purchase of the 6090 :P Will get the engineer to fix this one while installing the 6090 ready to sell on. Thanks again Lee

Laser Not firing

Hi all, I was having some problems with my laser not 'firing' every now and then a few weeks ago, did the whole 'squeeze the pipes' thing and managed to get her going each time..............eventually. I booked HPC to come out and give her a good service anyway, due to the business period coming up,...

Re: Champagne Glass Engraving - Power Settings

Thanks Tom, I'll give that a go on the morning, I'm not using the rotary but the glass i have purchased has a really level and fairly flat area that i can engrave on. The logo is also rather small so fits on the 'flat' bit. The image is a good fit on the glass, it was more the actual quality of the ...

Champagne Glass Engraving - Power Settings

Hi all, (and happy Easter) I'm currently doing some testing on some Champagne glasses in my LS3060 (60W), I'm getting varied and mixed results. Could i be cheeky and ask if anyone has a 'setting' that works for them?? I'm engraving through a 'damp' paper towel over the top of the glass as advised by...

Dave, I am sending you a virtual kiss right now!!!! All my images now work perfectly!! So again, just to be clear and forgive my ignorance..........I could do all my work in PhotoShop (it's what I'm used to), save as either PNG or BMP (which one is better??), and then just open in Laserscript and en...

Re: Image DXF Conversion - Sorry :-(

That's an idea, I'll certainly give that a go, will also look into Inkscape. I'm trying to use as few allocations as possible :o Trying not to overload an already slow windows machine, breaking me not being able to use my Mac lol. My machine is being fitted on Wed, just trying to get ahead on some d...

Re: Image DXF Conversion - Sorry :-(

Ok, just had a complete Eurkea moment, typical that i manage to sort it after poring my heart out on here lol. For some reason my PNGs were not transparent, so after a bit of 'background erasing' in Photoshop, then back in CorelDraw for tracing, then back into 5.3............Boom!!!! It simulates pe...
