Re: Quick Tip / Lens cleaning
Hi Starloc, On Hpc lasers it's as you'd think, curved down. The Internet will say the oppersite, but the Internet says alot of things. I'd never recommend you actually take your lens out, one you can drop them!! and two the little rubber gasket can stick to the Len coating, if you knock it off it ca...

Re: Quick Tip / Reduce Power Use & Prolong Tube Life
Hi Dave, Ya it all sounds really good, less power less speed and longer tube life. However in practice it doesn't make any noticable differance. I can't really explain the how's and why's ( sure a good google may turn up a fancy explanation ), I only go on experiance out in the field, feedback from ...

Re: Water Chiller Advice
Hi Glen, Ya the "COOLFLOW" s has had alot of really good feed back, for both cooling your system and stopping freezing! The CW3000 is a nice unit, designed for small lasers. Its rated to 50 watts, so I'd say anything upto 40watts really, like spooky said it doesn't have a refrigeration sys...

Re: 6040 Not Cutting Help Please
Morning,
Ya endcans right, your way out of focus. 2" / 50mm lens or 41mm to the top of the washer that holds the red dot. 100% power and a speed of 15 should run fine ( maybe too slow ).
Cheers Simon

Re: Water Chiller Advice
Morning Glen,
Before pending any cash, if you think it is temperature issue, then I'd be tempted to just increase you tank size (35l to 40l) and monitor. Hope this helps.
