Been a While
Hiya, just checking in with my sickeningly good new update. We've gone from strength to strength, I've closed Llama Lasers and am now working full time for my wifes company Curiology (she is a fair but firm boss  ), we've just hit 100k fans on Facebook and have wholesalers all over the world in...

Moved Home, new workshop!
You may remember the fun I had getting our machine into my last little workshop as loosely documented here: http://www.laserscript.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1100&start=30 well getting it out was a little easier though the move was pretty epic, we've relocated to the far North of Engla...

Re: Drain while away?
So spent almost £60 on HPC's special formula antifreeze yesterday, to be delivered today.
Sods law, it's mild this morning, probably wont see a frost again this year
Leaving the chiller running made sense so I'm doing that from now on at least.

Re: Drain while away?
Ah, thanks Tom you're a star, it was reading 3.1 and now reading 5.1 so we should be good to go.
I'll leave it running for another 20 mins before cutting and am gonna leave the chiller running 24/7 now in the hope the waterflow will put off freezing until I can get some antifreeze.

Re: Drain while away?
Chiller goes on and off with the machine, hope that isn't an issue. Wouldn't want to leave it all running 24/7 no way. Hasn't properly frozen here in Wiltshire for years despite what the Express seems to warn annually  Looks like I posted too soon. Frozen as hell (when it freezes over) here th...

First Attempt at Rubber Engraving
Wife wanted a stamp for our packaging so I bought a sheet of laserable rubber and gave it a go. Messy business so wont be doing it often, so much fine rubber dust coating everything!! Ordered some Tsukineko Versafine ink today, to do the above I blew all the ink out of a magenta printer cartridge an...

Re: Softdog
Added a short USB extension to mine to give it the best chance of survival in the event of a mishap.
Only a couple of quid to possibly save hundreds.
