Cog cutting file

Post by nicola »

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any simple plans for a cog cutting file suitable for cutting on my LS3050? I also use Corel.
I am going to a Steampunk themed event this weekend and would like some for decoration, they do not need to funtion.
Thanks in advance, Nicola

Let me know what sizes and I'll run up some drawings for you :)
Please note I am not employed by HPC, any advice or recomendations I give are based on my own experience and are not necessarily the same as HPC's. First point of contact on any hardware issues should be with HPC

Hello

You can make some in this and then download them as a plt that will import into laser cut5.3.

I found these resources...

http://geargenerator.com/ outputs svg files...

http://woodgears.ca/gear/ (this is really useful as you can add spokes etc) It is worth the purchase price if you are going to be working with gears (I purchased it a few years ago)
LS3060 PLUS with a 60w tube, Chiller and Bofa filter :-)
