WINDOWS 10 UPGRADE PROBLEM

Postby Rick » Tue Jul 18, 2017 12:53 pm

This isn't an issue directly concerned with cutting, but am wondering if anyone knows enough about Windows to offer advise.

My cutting PC just underwent an unavoidable major Windows 10 upgrade. The first issue was Lasercut 5.3 wouldn't open but Chris from HPC solved that by advising I now need to sign in as "Administrator". As well as this the other PC's on my private network can no longer read/write to the cutting PC although the cutting PC can read/write to all the other machines. I have tried running the Windows network diagnostics to no avail. I'm wondering if anyone might have an idea what the issue could be please?
Best regards, Richard

I had similar issue - it was resolved by reinstalling Lasercut and drivers.

Please note I am not employed by HPC, any advice or recomendations I give are based on my own experience and are not necessarily the same as HPC's. First point of contact on any hardware issues should be with HPC

Same here. Had to reinstall everything from scratch. That was so annoying.
