Ha, Ha, well mine doesn't anymore !

its a 50/50 intergrated fridge freezer, to cut a long story short the fridge compartment no longer stays cold and the freezer part works for a while after being switched of overnight then defrosts itself again.

Only audible noise is a hum, and the sound of the coolant while its working before it defrosts itself then just a slight hum again untill its left off for a few hours then the coolant can be heard again.

I dont think the compressor is kicking in and no audible clicking from the stat when turned down or up.

Going to take it out the cupboard tonigh and have a poke around !.

Yeah I would start off with the stat - they tend to be the most common thing to go wrong.

Good luck ;-)
