LS3020 - dispose or repair?

Post by GranttEnnis »

LS3020 Newly Draw - sat in spare room for 12 months after having laser tube replaced.

Just put it all together to see if it works; laser doesn't fire. Everything else seems to be working perfectly.

I'm keen to sell it, and had a buyer at £300 - now I'm wondering if it's salvagable or just scrap?

Any recommendations?

Hard to say without seeing it - it could just be something simple like a loose wire. The tube should still be ok in theory.

You could sell on Eb ay as needing repair - someone may need the parts or even the motherboard rather than scrap.
