HI
Anyone come across the carriage running faster than normal when running the TEST cut?
Also anyone had a problem with the laser cutting at just under double size of the actual size.
I have draw some shapes as a test on Techsoft 2D Design v2, Exported as a DXF file, Imported the DXF file into LaserCut and the resultant pieces came out almost double the drawn size. Any ideas out there?

Drawing scaling, Techsoft2D isn't one of the better programs to use with a laser as the setup if it's set to inches on the templates will resample the drawings when they hit the laser.

If you want to ping me the dxf (my email is below) I'll measure it up in AutoCAD and let you know what the sizes it will laser at are

cheers

Hi
If you draw say a 50mm square in lasercut and cut it out
Dose it come out 50mm (minus the kerf of course)
If it isn't then it could be pulse settings
2D can be a pain, when exporting make sure the setting are mm
