Did you know on lasercut if you set the line you wish to cut then go to cut options(where you set the speed/power).
Then click on the box with three dots...
You open a new page with the option of dash line,so you can tell the machine to cut for 2mm ans not cut for.2mm all adjustable and great for perforations,break out parts.
