Display going off

Post by davehills »

I have an LS 6840 and recently the display has been going off after probably five minutes. (Sometimes it will 'pulsate' gently.) Pushing a button restores the display for another five minutes or so.

I'm sure it hasn't done this before...is there a setting that need changing (Energy saving, perhaps?) or is the display likely to be kerfuggered?

Does it work again when you tap the side of the case as well? If so, loose connection. My LS1290 suffers from it!

There is a Energy saving bit in the menu but if it hasn't
do it before then then loose wire would be my guess

I did wiggle the wires and it made no difference. Where is the bit in the menu to do with energy saving? It's possible someone has tiggered with the settings while I wasn't looking.
