FOAMEX like material for laser cutting?

Hi,

Does anyone know of a FOAMEX like material for laser cutting. I've read before that FOAMEX gives off some rather horrible gases when cutting, so I want to steer clear.

Just need a non wood and waterproof material, without paying for sheets of full acrylic.

Yeah, Foamex is PVC. Stay away, Chlorine gas will kill you and erode the machine.
