HPC 6840 not cutting to dimensions

Post by CheneyIT »

Hello everyone,

I apologise in advance if i'm pretty weak on some of the terminology here - I'm a school IT guy who has been asked to look at a HPC 6840 on behalf of the DT team!

What seems to be happening is the HPC doesn't obey the dimensions we set in the software. We create the design in 2D design, export it, import it into the LaserCut software and then send it to the cutter... and then it seems to output in a diferent size to that which was specified. Does anyone have any ideas?

All the best

Could be the machine settings have been changed in Machine Options.

It may be easier to give HPC a call and get them to go through the settings with you.

Or you could un-install LaserScript or re-name the directory (for back up) and re-install to new directory. You may need to Export the Config file (from the Download Option) to the machine as well ;)
