Hi All,
New to the forum!
I previously owned a shonky Chinese Laser that after 6 months died on me (I know I know!)
I know have a LS3040 which works much better for what I make.
I design in Illustrator and then import my files into LaserCut 6.1. I just wanted to know if there are any other types of files for engraving other than using a BMP? I use a DXF file for all my cutting.
Thanks in advance,
A Newbie!

I do not have 6.1 but you should be able to engrave dxf as well as bmp.
In 5.1 I can also use PNG but not sure you can in 6.1
Best
