Laser keeps printing same old file

Hi - I downloaded a file to the laser from LaserCut 5.2, and the filename has changed on the little screen on the HPC Laser 6540.

However, it is still cutting the last file! How can I remove the last file from the memory, and cut the new one?

You can delete a file from the panel on the machine using the arrow keys or from LaserCut by selecting delete all files before download.

Yes, I did that. I have used this machine for 10 years - this is a new problem, out of nowhere.

Any more ideas gratefully received...

So sounds like a card issue - if you can't delete it by selecting it from the control panel or the software it may be an issue with the motherboard. You could try loading a file using a USB stick and see what happens...

TBF the files I have been cutting are edited copies of each other. It was fine for the first few, but one started sticking...

If it is the same file name that does happen- swap a layer colour or rename. You should still be able to delete the file to there are none left in the memory though!
