When cutting a shape the laser is not cutting the whole shape, there is a gap at the start / finish point. This occurs whether it is an imported dxf file or if I draw a simple circle in the lasercut software and affects all shapes.
The gap is relative to the size of the shape being cut so a small circle its a small gap and a large circle a bigger gap, it is not offset if it continued further the lines would meet but it is as if it is stopping short ?
thanks in hope !

LS3040 lasercut 6.1
Re: shapes not completing cutting
In the options box (where you set power etc) make sure the overlap is set to 0.05 - it can be used to leave a tab.
