Rotary attachment

Hi guys .
I got a rotary attachment and installed as Per instructions Which I found easy and got the rotary working and laserd with it so when I finished what I had to do I disconnected the rotary and connected the other cable just todo ordinary lasering so I went into machine config and into the CFG to change the pulse movement then pressed ok then the password came up and pressed that but it doesn’t send new pulse to the machine and on the machine says “ Datum “ resulting in the machine wont work .
Have anyone come across this and could help solve my problem , thanks guys
