For sheer complexity and the fact its made out of acrylic, i have to say Bobg is the winner.. Thanks to all those that took part , i was impressed by all your entries but this one just stood out for me , sorry :(

Hek! Thank you Ellie.....and thanks to everyone else for their comments.

I thought all the entries were excellent. Just shows what variety of stuff you can do with a humble laser!

The model signal is for our G-Scale layout in the clubrooms at Keighley Model Railway Society. I've a further six to make, but not all as complicated as this one. Being plastic, and with a little weather-proofing to the electronics on the base, it would be OK outdoors. I've had some similar (but simpler) ones outdoors for two years and they've been OK. Having the laser just made making them so much easier, especially the detail parts.
