Re: Kent calling........

Hi - welcome ;)

We are mainly HPC Laserscript users so may not be able to help with your Rabbit machine although there are similarities ;)

Re: air and extraction upgrades?

LOL - master I'm not. More powerful laser Jedi there are! Yes strongman tools - I have two - the 20ltr and 35ltr (I think it is). I like to be able to control the airflow depending on what job I am doing so the compressor is better from that point of view. Also the break from the constant noise is n...

Re: air and extraction upgrades?

Hi Ric, Yes on both accounts - there are a few posts about this back in time. I use a couple of small silent compressors (as silent as a compressor can be) by Triton and improving the extraction helps as well ;) I have a larger version of the Hailea air pump - it does help a bit but is louder. Re: CW5000

Sounds like something is wrong - if water is flowing and the air circulation is good (clean any air filters) then I would say it needs looking at - 60c is way to much for the tube so I would not use it.

Check the water is that hot going in as well in case it is the display/controls.

Re: Technical Docs for Laserscript LS3040

Hi Kim,
I have never seen any specifically for Laserscript machines. There are plenty of sites/posts about DIY lasers but I would be vary careful as components may differ.

You could just post your question and see if anyone can help ;)

Re: Engraving looks jagged

Check everything is secure - the older 3020 had nylon wheels running under the carriage, make sure they are ok. Check the lens and mirrors aren't moving as well.

Does it do it on slower speeds?

Cheers

Re: can anyone tell me a good way to mask acrylic?

You could try spraying with furniture polish - I didn't find it worked for what I wanted but it may work in your situation.

Re: HPC 3020

Re-set the emergency stop button a couple of times just in case.

Re: Double lines ?

Is the beam centred in the air assist nozzle? Put tape on the bottom and do a test - it may be hitting the side.
